ROLE: ART DIRECTOR

 

U.S. Open: Ace Your Money Moves

 

From creating the concept to finalizing the execution, I worked as the Art Director on the recent spot Chase created tor the U.S. Tennis Open. We partnered with Buck Animation Studio to bring these dynamic and vibrant visuals to life. The voice over talent was Gabrielle Union.

Responsibilities included:

  • Coming up with the concept and selling through to the Chase client

  • Creating visual brief for Buck and working with them daily to finalize the storyboards

  • Providing feedback on styleframes, from color to composition

  • Partnering with Buck to finalize the transitions between scenes

  • Providing feedback on super animation and placement

  • Working with music houses to compose original music for the spot

 

In this :30 second spot, we wanted to celebrate the vibrancy of New York and the human connection that comes with return of the U.S. Open. As each moment comes to life, we weaved in the importance of using the Chase Mobile App to quietly facilitate these interactions.

 
 

The above is an example a :15 second cut down that we created specifically for investing on the Chase Mobile App. We also created cut downs that highlighted Zelle.

The above shows how we extended this concept to in person, sound off environments. These :15 JPM Sponsor ads were used on site during the U.S. Open.
